Iceland had been on my bucket list for a number of years. Finally, post-pandy I decided it was time. We spent 8 days exploring, starting in Reykjavik. Then we headed north up to the Snæfellsnes peninsula, back down to the Golden Circle, and then along the coast to Jökulsárlón. We saw unearthly landscapes, got soaked under waterfalls, met the locals, and tried many a new dish – and yet – we only scratched the surface of what Iceland has to offer. Needless to say, I am already planning my next trip to the “Land of Fire and Ice”.
